DELTA visit to Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare, Ringmer Thursday, 11 August 2011 |

Our Raystede day started in Ringmer Village Hall where we held our monthly social. After enjoying a good lunch in the hall provided by DELTA (from Nibbles), Jason from Raystede arrived to introduce us to the work of the Centre. He described the many animals that are looked after and found homes for, the facilities required to house them all and the need for fundraising. After giving us an outline of its history, he then invited us to join him at the Centre for a conducted tour. The following photos show how we got on during this visit to Raystede which is only 3 miles outside Ringmer. |
